Use of your personal information

Treken collects and uses your personal information to operate the www.treken.co.uk Website and deliver the services you have requested.

Treken does not sell, rent or lease its customer lists to third parties.

Search queries and results are logged anonymously to help us improve our website and search functionality. No user-specific data is collected by either Treken or any third party.

Treken will disclose your personal information, without notice, only if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to: (a) conform to the edicts of the law or comply with legal process served on Treken or the site; (b) protect and defend the rights or property of Treken and, (c) act under exigent circumstances to protect the personal safety of users of Treken, or the public.

Email Marketing

We use a third-party provider, iContact, to deliver our email marketing. We gather statistics around email opening and clicks using industry standard technologies including clear gifs to help us monitor and improve our e-marketing activity. Contact Forms 

Should you choose to contact Treken using a contact form on our website or an email link, the data will be collated into an email and sent to us over the Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP). We use a third party service which encrypts the email content using SHA-2, 256-bit cryptography before being sent across the internet. The email content is then decrypted by our local computers and devices.

Social Media

If you send us a private or direct message via social media the message will be stored within our password protected account. It will not be shared with any other organisations.

Use of cookies

Treken secures your personal information from unauthorised access, use or disclosure. Treken secures the personally identifiable information you provide on computer servers in a controlled, secure environment, protected from unauthorised access, use or disclosure. When personal is transmitted to other websites, it is protected through the use of encryption, such as the Secure Socket Layer (SSL) protocol.

We use a third-party service to help maintain the security and performance of the Treken website. To deliver this service, it processes the IP addresses of visitors to the website.

Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although we will do our best to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee the security of your data transmitted to our site; any transmission is at your own risk. Once we have received your information, we will use strict procedures and security features to try to prevent unauthorised access.
